Pink and Glitter

Hope that your weekend was as lovely and relaxing as mine was!  Colorado was bombarded with beautiful white snow for most of the weekend, which enabled me to get a few projects done around the house, along with some sledding and outside time with the kiddo.  I told a friend the other day that I have been gravitating towards pink lately and think it's because I'm a mother to a girl, it's bringing out my inner 2 year-old in me!  How appropriate, pink garland anyone?

Supplies:

I started out painting the Styrofoam balls  and added the glitter while the paint was still wet.  I sprayed the balls, after they were dry, with a sealer to ensure that the glitter wouldn't get everywhere!

(No picture of this next step)  I then threaded a needle through the Styrofoam ball and continued to add more of the glittered balls. Keep threading until all balls are onto the thread.  You now have cute glitter-ball garland.

I think they are an adorably cute accessory to Hazel's coloring area!  The great thing about garland, is it's easy to move to a different area, when you get tired of it in one place.

Here are a few of my favorites from the weekend.....

Happy Monday!!!
