Back'n Black

From a small age I can remember how exciting it was to be called to the chalkboard to answer a question.  I think in reality, the excitement lied in writing on the big-beautiful green or black board!  Now day's everyone is pretty familiar with the accessibility to chalkboard paint and how you can pretty much paint anything with this fun paint!  So goes the tale of my project yesterday.  In preparation of painting the cabinets in the kitchen I thought that I would add a little area for Mama to list the must-needs of the household.

To start: Valspar Chalkboard Paint.

Need: The inside of any kitchen cabinet.  A paint brush and painters tape to mark the area you want to paint.

Process:  I did about 5-6 coats of paint.  I then free-handed the decorative bubbles around the outside of the rectangle.

To Finish: All ya need is some chalk to write whatever is missing from your fridge or cabinets!!! ( Don't mind my messy, disorganized cabinets.

Simple and easy!  The painting of the cabinets are the next project in order, but the Robert's Household has a super busy week-a-half, so project will have to wait.  Are ya'll working on any home improvements?  I would love to hear from you!  Have a wonderful day.

  1. That is a great idea! I wish we owned our house, otherwise, I would do this!
